A six-month world trip has just unfolded.
It has been five years since this idea popped up in my mind. I even couldn’t imagine the day when it has come true.
Vaguely, I decided to kick off this trip by ship. At Osaka Nanko Port, with cherry blossom in full bloom, comfortable spring sunshine, and chatting in foreign languages here and there, I felt so excited to take off.
As soon as getting on a ferry, musical notes made by piano and cello welcomed me. At 15:00, the ferry departed. With sea breeze, gazing at the scenery of Osaka brought me mixed feeling, like “I am freeeee!” and “I miss Osaka!” at the same time. Just my emotions didn’t seem to be down-to-earth. They were just floating in the air.
I happened to meet my buddies, migratory birds on my way. Wishing them luck, as a traveler like them.
I shared a room with Mrs. Park who was heading back to her hometown, Busan, Korea. After chatting each other, went to bed. News, however, broke our sleep. Another earthquake happened in northern Kanto and Tohoku area again, a news reporter said. It would affect the radiation plant restoration. We gazed at the TV screen without a word.
